Lesotho Province: Planting trees

Challenged by the Message of the General Chapter that we care for creation, we have already approached appropriate authorities namely the Chief of Reserve who promised to meet the District Agriculture Office (Conservation and Forestry) to supply trees for planting. The chief also assured us that he would talk with local chiefs of Mohale`s Hoek and surrounding villages to allocate a place that will be protected from animals grazing and wild fire. We hope God will send good rains so that by the end of this year something would have taken place.

We were so happy for good rains we got during this month. It was so dry that animals were literally grazing soil since there was no grass. We are indeed grateful to God for his mercy. People have lost their animals during this time when they were waiting patiently for God to answer our prayers and give us rain.
